Give to Lincoln Day Results![]() Joe announced the final results of giving to Lincoln South Rotary Foundation during Give to Lincoln Day. There were total donations of $2120. With the 7% match of $150 we have a total of $2270 toward the Scholarship Fund.

2025-26 Rotarian of the Year Syd Widga announced the Rotarian of the Year as Nicki Klein, stating "have you ever noticed…the smoother things run in our club…the less we notice why that is…. we owe a lot of gratitude to this years recipient of the Rotarian of the Year to Nicki Klein". |
Tradition - President Pin With DiamondA number of years back, Lincoln South Rotary Club secured a President Pin with a Diamond. That pin is passed among the President from year-to-year. Syd passes the pin to Tami and officially turns the Club Presidency over to her. The Club hopes each President will enjoy the pin - wear it with pride during their Rotary Year.

We have partnered with Bryan Health Sciences the past few years and, with the generous additional donation from one of our members, have been able to provide a $5,000 scholarship.

Results of The Rotary International Foundation Drive 2025-26Lincoln South Rotary Club The Rotary International Foundation Drive results - we met our goal of $16,000 but were short of 100% participation. Because of the amount of money and points available, we will name two Paul Harris Fellows this year - Suchitra Pattnaik and Heather Loughman. You can participate in the annual drive easily - pay the optional donation with the annual dues that will come out in April. Rotary District Conference and Lincoln South RotaryEarlier we heard of the awards and activities of Lincoln South Rotary Club at the 2025-26 District Conference in October. Syd Widga officially presented the club with the 2024-25 awards earned: Club Excellence Award (formerly the Rotary Citation), Polio Plus Support of $1500 or more - we were 6th among all clubs; 2nd in Per Capita giving to the Annual Fund of The Rotary Foundation at $339.82.
