Rotary District 5650, under the direction of Randy Bretz District Public Image Chair, is working on a project about Rotary's Image in our District. UNL Students are helping develop a strategy of telling the Rotary story to the public.
By visiting Lincoln South Rotary Club, they learned that we are not just a group that meets for lunch and maybe rings bells for the Salvation Army.

Lincoln South Rotary Club Members had an opportunity to interact directly with the students during our October 27 meeting. We were asked to share what we would like others to know about Rotary.

The project started with a brief survey sent to all Rotary District 5650 Members asking what we feel about rotary and the public's perception of Rotary. Questions included:
What do you think people in your community think Rotary stands for?
What do you say when your friends ask you about Rotary?
What can we do to tell our story better?

They are also meeting with non-rotarians to get a good understanding of what the general public thinks of Rotary.
