As you know, as we end each year, Lincoln South Rotary encourages members to contribute to the Rotary International Foundation and to the Lincoln Foodbank. The generosity of our members to these remarkable organizations is important, impressive and deeply appreciated.
The Lincoln South Rotary Board also knows that as we approach year’s end, many of us are seeking to make the holidays a bit brighter for others or are planning our 2023 charitable giving. Many non-profit organizations have joined us this year. They have shared with us their mission and have shown us the many ways we can create hope in the world.
As we were gathering today [December 1], we shared a slide show featuring those organizations. Perhaps you might consider making a holiday or year-end contribution to one of them---purely voluntary, of course.
Some of the organizations have wish lists, if you prefer to directly meet an organization’s needs for things like diapers, or kid’s underwear or bike parts. Or perhaps you would like to start your own dictionary project for fourth grade classes that were skipped this year.
