At Lincoln South Rotary Club on Friday, May 12, 2023, we learned about one of our newest members, Gina Seebohm.
During Member Moments we ask members to share information about their personal life and work, what they like about Rotary, and one thing that we may not know about them.

Gina has been is a math instructor at Southeast Community College for 11 years.

She got her masters at Texas A&M which is where she met her husband. They then moved to Lincoln to follow his job.

She likes kayaking, golf and hiking. She and her husband enjoy extended hiking trips. They have had week-long trips hiking around Ireland, Germany and twice in Switzerland. She has been in a barbershop quarter. They both like to entertain - enjoy cooking and playing games. Nothing makes them happier than to see people gather around and enjoy fellowship.

She shared that when she was younger she was obsessed with being an astronaut, often setting up space shuttle cockpit areas in her family's home. She said she still may go to space camp as they do have programs for adults now.

She first visited Lincoln South Rotary Club to hear Clayton Anderson talk. With that introduction she realized that she liked what Lincoln South Rotary Club was all about and knew that she wanted to be a part of Rotary.
