District Governor Barb Bartle attended Lincoln South Rotary Club on June 10. She recognized Nicki Klein for her contributions to Rotary and The Rotary Foundation.
During DG Barb's official visit early in the Rotary Year she challenged everyone to make a direct donation to The Rotary Foundation. She would draw names from among those that made donations during her District Conference and present them with a Paul Harris Fellow - a value of $1,000. With each additional $1,000 a person is giving a PHF+ designation. One of the names drawn was Nicki. Adding to her current donation totals, that makes Nicki a Paul Harris Fellow +7.
In addition Barb thanked Lincoln South Rotary Club for our ongoing support of The Rotary Foundation.Barb also thanked Nicki for her Rotary work - her knowledge of processes and procedures and historical knowledge. She also noted the connections Nicki has at Rotary International and ClubRunner. When visiting the booths at the recent International Convention she said many knew Nicki and said to thank her for her work and help that she provides to them.
