The tradition of Lincoln Rotary Clubs providing dictionaries to students continued this year - and there was a new "personal" twist.
Dictionaries were provided to the 3rd Grade Students in Lincoln. This year the project included the participation of the Rotary Clubs of Lincoln 14, Lincoln East and Lincoln South.
This was a change - going to 3rd Grade Students where in the past we provided dictionaries to 4th Grade Students.
President Mary Gilbride did not want her 4th grade grandson to miss out. So she personally purchased and delivered dictionaries to the 4th Grade class at his school. That you, Mary!
Lincoln South Rotary Club Members helped label the dictionaries, boxing in preparation for delivery to the schools. Rotary members were able to present the dictionaries which allowed the students to meet Rotary members and thank them for the gift.
