On September 19, 2025 at Lincoln South Rotary Club, we will hear from Suzanne Jouvenat. She works at Lincoln Counseling - Enrichment Center and is sharing about the program through Braver Angels which is seeking to create opportunities for civil conversation between people with political differences.

It was a great meeting - good presentation and conversation - at Lincoln South Rotary Club on September 12, 2025.

The Rotary District Conference - providing service opportunities, participation, learning and celebration - is coming up October 17-18, 2025 in Omaha. Our District covers Eastern Nebraska and Southwestern Iowa. The conference is a great opportunity to connect with other clubs and share ideas.

Lincoln South Rotary Club has consistently sponsored students to participate in Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA). RYLA in our District started in 2012 under the leadership of Lincoln South Rotary Club Member, and now Past District Governor 2017-18, Tom Cardwell.

Lincoln South Rotary Club has been supporting Little Free Pantries as an ongoing project. 

Our goal is to strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy. We support education for all children and literacy for children and adults.

Thank you to Lincoln South Rotary Club Members for participating in the voting for the Salute to Business recipient. It is important that we get good representation from the Clubs to ensure equity in the process. Though we would lie more - we had a high percentage vote - nearly 60% of our Active Club Members voted.
