Todd Tubutis, Associate Director of Sheldon Memorial Art Museum was our speaker. Todd recently came to the Art Museum from Portland and he talked about many of the recent changes such as rearranging many of the existing works so the galleries feel fresh.
The building is named after Mary Francis Sheldon and her brother who both loved art and left a bequest for the museum. The brother's widow brought in the famous architect Philip Johnson to design the building which was built in 1963.
At Lincoln South Rotary Club on November 13, 2015 we heard from Eric Slezak, General Manager of SourceOne which was started in 1971 and does metal fabrication, powder coating as well as custom designing and making specialized machinery.
Lincoln South Rotary Club will offer Nuts, Candy and Coffee products again this year for the Holidays. With this fundraiser, club members can pre-order products to sell*, or you can just place orders as you make sales.
Orders placed by Noon on Tuesday will be available at Rotary that same Friday. Send orders to nklein2@neb.rr.com. Though we focus our Nut Sales efforts during the Holidays, the products are available at any time at the Fundraiser prices.
