This meeting was the culmination of the 2005 Lincoln South Annual Scholarship Competition.

Alexis Geist, a senior from Norris High School, was awarded the $1000 Lincoln South Rotary scholarship. She plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to study Biology or Chemistry and has a Career Goal of being a Doctor of Pediatric Physical Therapy

Trevor Nieveen, a Norris High School senior, was awarded the $500 scholarship. He plans on attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and studying Biology and Spanish.

All four of the finalists were also given a new backpack with some "college-bound" appropriate gifts. Proceeds from the golf outing and nut sales fund these Scholarships.
